Wise Old Owl

In 2024, I had the honor of meeting Mason Via at a Mountain Fever Records showcase in Nashville. We connected over each other’s songs, and a few months later at IBMA, we co-wrote Wise Old Owl in just a couple of hours. The song uses nocturnal imagery—racing thoughts like creatures of the night—while the wise old owl offers comfort and wisdom, helping to quiet the burdens of anxiety and insomnia.
