Tivoli Park

“Tivoli Park” is the latest offering from North Carolina’s “The Rabbit Council,” the musical project of Lee Baber. The song is part of a trio of covers written by friends of Baber’s (the other two being “Camera 321” and “Drink Deep.”)

"Tivoli Park" was originally released by Canada’s "The Mark Kleiner Power Trio." in 2002. Kleiner was inspired to write the song after his band visited Tivoli City Park in Ljubljana, Slovenia while on tour.

Baber and Kleiner were childhood pen pals after discovering each other through a Monkees Fan Club.

He is excited to share the unique “Rabbit Council” treatment to his long-time friends’ song.

Since 2024, "The Rabbit Council’s” eclectic releases have received airplay on SIRIUS XM and independent and college radio stations.

Music blog Boulimique de Musique describes The Rabbit Council music as “refreshing… a gently psychedelic atmosphere… inhabited by a touch of madness (to) nourish the spirit… truly refreshing.”
