Ride Cowboy Ride

Ride Cowboy Ride is a song I wrote for my parents. I grew up on a 3000 acre ranch/farm in the hills of NW North Dakota. We didn’t have high mountains, but we had rolling hills with lakes, sloughs and Aspen trees. My dad was a cowboy first, farmer second. He loved everything about cowboy life and he lived it his entire life of 87 years on he and my mom’s ranch. My older brothers and I grew up with rodeo and tending to lots of cattle on horseback the old fashioned way. My mom was an Earth Angel who loved us and cared for us like no other. I lived an ideal childhood. My first day of college, I bought my first guitar and have been writing songs ever since!
