Please Stay

Tyler Griffith’s debut single, “Please Stay,” is a heartfelt tribute to his wife, Nienke. The song was born from a romantic challenge – when Nienke was preparing to leave Johnson City, TN to her home in Friesland, the Netherlands. After a layover, Tyler wrote “Please Stay” to convince her to stay longer. The two met at a birthday party in his own living room in 2017, and despite their transcontinental connection, they were hesitant due to the distance. The song was elemental in paving the road that would support their eventual marriage. Now, “Please Stay” is the first single from Tyler’s upcoming album, a collection of originals and covers that strikes a chord in Tyler’s heart.
