Song Bio: I wrote this song while I was in music college and recently came across the original music sheet, filled with my handwritten notes and an A- from my songwriting professor. I recall him asking if I had written the song alone, which seemed like an odd question at the time. Solitude has always been crucial for me as an artist. I need time alone to recharge, especially when life becomes overwhelming with too much noise and interaction. Returning to nature and finding quiet helps me reconnect with myself. This song captures the chaos I sometimes feel and my desperate need to escape and find peace.
