I’m Here To Get My Baby Out Of Jail

Kenny Feinstein was deeply inspired by the Kitchen Tapes recordings by Red Allen and Frank Wakefield, particularly the raw energy and candid feel of the performances. The opportunity to duet with one of his musical heroes, Michael Daves, carried special meaning for Feinstein, whose admiration for Daves’ voice and musicianship runs deep. Feinstein also credits producer Jake Eddy for bringing the collaboration together and helping shape the track’s natural, stripped-down feel.
