Home From The Forest

Two heroes of music passed away in the short period before Nathan recorded his Fort Lonesome album project, Tony Rice and Gordon Lightfoot. Home From the Forest serves as a tribute to both of them; and the song happens to be the first song Nathan learned to pick lead guitar on when he was 8 years old. That, alone, is noteworthy because most guitar players never quite get the hang of Tony Rice’s version of this song.
