Gee Lets Run
Rooted in classic bluegrass musicianship while carrying a fresh, energetic edge, “Gee Let’s Run” was born out of an unexpected setback. After suffering a torn ACL during a pickup basketball game, Laney turned recovery into inspiration.
Colby Laney shares, “‘Gee, Let’s Run’ was written after I tore my ACL during a pickup basketball game. The title plays on the musical term ‘G Run,’ and the tune became a way to stay positive and look ahead during recovery. It’s an upbeat instrumental that reflects that mindset—something fun to play, fun to jam on, and a reminder that better days are always coming.”
