Song Bio: This song began as a simple lullaby for my youngest son, but it grew into a message I wanted all my young men to carry with them. I wanted them to know they didn’t have to chase the world’s idea of success—they already had the love of heaven and Jesus. My own experiences in music college shaped this message as well. I saw the strain, jealousy, and division among talented musicians all striving to be stars, and it weighed heavily on my heart. I, too, longed for recognition, but over time I found a deeper truth. Creating music that resonated with my soul and knowing God’s love for me became far more fulfilling than the applause of this world.
