Chattanooga Boy
Award-winning bluegrass singer and songwriter Lori King is set to release her brand-new single, “Chattanooga Boy,” on July 11, 2025, via The 615 Hideaway Alliance. The song will be available on all major streaming platforms.

From the opening line — “Chattanooga Boy, what you’ve done to me, I’m about as blue as any girl can be…” — the song tells a timeless story of heartbreak, resolve, and moving on from a love gone wrong.

Lead Vocal: Lori King
Vocals: Jim Van Cleve, Danielle Smith
Guitar: Zeb Snyder
Banjo: Scott Vestal
Mandolin: Aaron Ramsey
Bass & Dobro: Jeff Partin

“Getting to record a song written by Tim Stafford and Mark Bumgardner was such an honor,” says King. “With Jim Van Cleve producing and these incredible musicians in the studio, it felt like we captured every bit of emotion this song deserves.”
“Chattanooga Boy” continues Lori King’s tradition of delivering heartfelt bluegrass rooted in storytelling, soul, and the authentic sounds of the genre.
