Camera 321
“Camera 321” is the latest offering from North Carolina’s “The Rabbit Council,” the musical project of Lee Baber. The song is part of a trio of covers written by friends of Baber’s (the other two being “Drink Deep” and “Tivoli Park.”)
“Camera 321” was first written and recorded by the critically acclaimed grunge cult band “Sticky” from Boone, North Carolina. It was released on their “Gagwagon” album in 1994.
The members of Sticky were Chip Taylor, John Hawkins, David Alston and Jon Leeds. Leeds is contributing drums and production on this version.
Also on this version is guitarist and banjoist Franco Martino of the grammy-nominated bluegrass outfit “Che Apalache.”
Baber is excited to bring the unique “Rabbit Council” treatment to his long-time friends’ song.
Since 2024, "The Rabbit Council’s” eclectic releases have received airplay on SIRIUS XM and independent and college radio stations.
Music blog Boulimique de Musique describes The Rabbit Council music as “refreshing… a gently psychedelic atmosphere… inhabited by a touch of madness (to) nourish the spirit… truly refreshing.”
