Another Fast Song

“Another Fast Song” started with a simple question during a co-write: “What do you need
for your next project, Casey?” I laughed and said, “I could always use another fast song in
the set!” A light bulb went off, and we decided that sounded like a song title. Before long,
we were writing it.
It was a joy bringing the idea to life with my co-writers, Jerry Salley and Brent Baxter, then
heading into the studio with co-producer Chris Latham at The Gorilla’s Nest to create a
track that’s every bit as energetic and fun as we imagined. We even added a blazing
instrumental at the end to keep the momentum going.
Andy Leftwich, Byron House, and Tony Wray brought incredible musicianship to the
recording and took it far beyond what I envisioned. I can’t wait for everyone to
hear”Another Fast Song.”
