So It Goes

So it Goes……And, So it Went!
Mission Hill’s catalog of originals came into being when Richard scribbled a twist on Vonnegut’s existential mantra, somehow inspiring this bunch of songs which were written, according to him, with the disbelief that it could be done. Richard notes that it seems clear we aren’t really sure why we are here on Earth, and life’s challenge is to find reason and meaning in an unreasonable and unpredictable universe. Aaron and Richard have found reason and meaning in their approach to music: Aaron through his hard-driving guitar playing and Richard through his songwriting and melodic approach to mandolin playing.
Bluegrass, as played by Mission Hill, has a vibrant simplicity that blends the drive of bluegrass, the sting of country music, and the sensibilities of the great singing duos of all time. Mission Hill is led by Aaron
Zorndorf on guitar and Richard Lamar Moore playing mandolin. These two friends have taken the songs
written by Richard, set them to music and harmonized them into being.
As Aaron and Richard say, it might have been a minute… it might have been a mile. Timeless music in thebluegrass tradition is what they hope you’ll enjoy with Mission Hill’s first album.
